You put on a fantastical festival, I may have had a little to much fun. Really it was great reconnecting with familiar faces, spaces and places and getting to know some new ones to! The only problem I had with the festival was that there was just to many great choices and I just wanted to experience it all. That being said, I would absolutely love to work for the 2011 Festival....The only additional things I can think of suggesting for the future of the festival would be to hopefully one day grow to the point where we could expand the duration of the festival to an entire weekend and thus allow space for more workshop type classes and also to potentially offer more kids classes so that the festival could be more kid friendly. If you think this is a good idea I could volunteer myself to do that as I teach Storytime Yoga to ages 6-11, although I know there are a lot of really great kids yoga instructors out there and the less classes I have to teach is all the more classes I get to take.

Thank You
-Ben

Our group (5) traveled 2 1/2 hours to attend this yoga festival. I thought it awesome!! So many choices of yoga classes, along with other teachings, and good food. Those who put this day together you did an excellant job and I look forward to next year!!

I am so excited to take the class offered with teacher Renee Fussner. She is a shining example of what an instructor should be, with a big heart, a passion for yoga, she is beautiful inside and out and full of postive energy. I can't wait!

I'm excited about the variety of offerings throughout the day! As a householder yogi with a young family, I especially appreciate the Parent + Child yoga classes. For 2011 I would love to see even more kid/family friendly options in 2011. Some possibilities to trigger the thought process: mandala coloring, mala beading, henna tattoos, mat painting, yoga stories, etc. Peace, and thanks for all you're doing to foster community and share yoga in the Twin Cities!

The more I find out about this event, the more eager I am to participate. It started out as just an opportunity to sell my book, but now I'm eager to attend book, or no book. My favorite quote about yoga is "No raja without hatha. No hatha without raja" and it looks like both will be well represented!

I am so with Luke:

"I'm looking for experiences and or positive input into how we are getting the word out and letting people know what a great festival this really is.

What do you think about what we are doing and what the festival as to offer?

What can we offer other than focusing on yoga? I know we have more to offer but what do you think?"

And.... what we hope this festival might accomplish: What IS yoga? Is it just this twisty bendy thing we see? or does it mean "Union" and how is that expressed now, in 2010-2011?

Please give your comments and help us build this festival together!

I would be interested in being a presenter/teacher next year.

A schedule of events/classes would be really helpful.
